ASHLAND RAILROAD RUN - Race the Rails and Trails
Join us for our 47th year racing the rails in lovely Ashland, Virginia. All proceeds benefit the Center. For this year’s event, we are partnering with Arsenal Events and will have in-person and virtual options.
Come race the rails at one of Central Virginia’s longest-established road races. Events include a 10K, 5K Walk/Run, Kids Fun Run, and the COTU Challenge (race both the 5K and 10K!).

Packet pickup: In-person at the Center, March 20 from 5-7 pm, and March 21 beginning at 7 am.
When: March 21, 2026
Time: 7 - 11:00 am
Where: Hanover Arts & Activities Center, 500 S. Center St, Ashland
Shirts
Shirt availability and sizes cannot be guaranteed if registered after March 3rd. Virtual runners will need to pickup shirt during packet pickup. Shirts for virtual non-local entries can be shipped for a flat rate of $10. $5 discount for no shirt option.
Misc
The 5K course is suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. The 10K course is NOT suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.
There are 2 water stations along the course.
